Faith Doreen Parsons

Mrs. Faith Herring Parsons, 62, of Biloxi, MS, died Saturday, January 3, 2009, in Biloxi. Mrs. Parsons was born in St. Johns Newfoundland, Canada and had been a resident of Biloxi most of her life. She was an animal activist being that she loved all animals. She is survived by her husband, Joel R. Porter of Biloxi; daughter, Rev. Belinda Slade of Biloxi; son, Gerald Herring of Biloxi; brothers, Gordon Parsons and Perry Parsons both of Mt. Pearl, Newfoundland; two grandchildren, Brandi Scharborough and Bryan Trosclair both of Biloxi, and one great grandchild, Trynity Trosclair of Biloxi. The family plans a memorial service at a later date. Bradford-O'Keefe Funeral Home, Howard Avenue, in Biloxi is in charge of arrangements.
