Fay Quave Sellers

Fay Quave Sellers gained her heavenly wings on Saturday, September 5, 2015, as she lived her life softly and surrounded by her loving family. Fay was born December 12, 1939 to Alta Cook and Willie Quave. She was a lifelong resident of Vancleave, graduate of Vancleave High School and a member of Oak Grave Landmark Missionary Baptist Church. She always showed love and kindness to all who crossed her path. Fay was preceded in death by her parents; brother, Jerry Quave; niece, Doris Melvin; and nephew, Glen Simmons. She is survived by her children, Annette (Johnny) Bean, Mickey (Helen) Sellers and Susie (Derl) Cole; sister, Laura Simmons; grandchildren, Judd (Brieanna) Bean, Kris (Kesha) Bean, April Sellers, Derl Willie Cole and Logan Sellers; great grandchildren, Cody Bean, Justin Bean and Kyler Bean; nieces and nephew, Marie Yundt, Helen George, Debbie Webb, Julie Davis, Tracy Mims and James Simmons; and her work family, Quinton, Garrett, Vanessa, Peggy and others. Services will be held at the Vancleave Chapel of Bradford-O’Keefe Funeral Home on Tuesday, September 8, 2015 at 7:00 p.m. Friends may visit from 5:00 p.m. until 7:00 p.m.
