Mr. Ferril Calvin Creel, 89, of Biloxi, MS, died Sunday, April 1, 2007, in Ocean Springs.
Mr. Creel was born in Biloxi and remained a lifelong resident of the coast. He was of the Methodist faith and a veteran of the U. S. Army. He formerly worked with the Jitney Jungle as a meat cutter and the Ocean Springs Fire Department.
He was preceded in death by his wife, Mary Alice Williams Creel; parents; three brothers, Herman Creel, Melvin Creel and Richard Creel; and two sisters, Genevieve Fountain and Beulah Bellais. Survivors include his daughter, Lorraine Gill of Biloxi; sister, Verna Mae Klein of Vancleave; three grandchildren, Karen Carron and her husband, Kyle, Jake Gill and Tim Gill and his wife, Kim, all of Biloxi; and six great grandchildren, Alicia and Patrick Carron, Meagan, Tyler, Trent, and Katie Gill.
Funeral services will be held Wednesday, April 4, 2007, at 10 a.m. at the Howard Avenue Chapel of Bradford-O'Keefe Funeral Homes in Biloxi where friends may visit one hour before service time. Interment will follow in Biloxi National Cemetery.
