Florence Evelyn Myrick

Mrs. Florence Williams Myrick, 90, of Ocean Springs, MS, died Saturday, April 25, 2009, at her home in Ocean Springs. Mrs. Myrick was born in Ocean Springs and remained a lifelong resident. She was a homemaker and member of the First Baptist Church of Ocean Springs. Mrs. Myrick was preceded in death by her husband, Buford Myrick; parents, W. E. "Nub" and Lorena Williams; grandson, Danny Davis; sisters, Ruby Noel, Mary Creel, Grace Thornton; brothers, Clarence, Jack, Benny, Malcom, and JD Williams. She is survived by her son, Eugene (Joyce) Myrick of Mobile, AL: daughter, Marie (Robert) Pardue of Ocean Springs; brother, Larry (Virginia) Williams, of Ocean Springs; sister-in-law, Ann Williams; four grandchildren, Erick (Rada) Myrick, Greg (Deanna) Myrick, Angela (Tim) Freund, and Jacqueline (Jimbo) Wescovich; and sixteen great grandchildren. In lieu of flowers the family prefers memorials made to the Order of The Eastern Star, Adah Chapter #49 Benevelance, P. O. Box 831, Ocean Springs, MS 39564. Funeral services will be 11 a.m. Wednesday, April 29, 2009, at Bradford-O'Keefe Funeral Home in Ocean Springs where friends may visit one hour before service time. Interment will follow in Crestlawn Memorial Park.
