Florence Juliette Valk

Mrs. Juliette "Judy" Valk, 85, of Ocean Springs, MS, died Saturday, June 11, 2011, in Ocean Springs. Mrs. Valk was born in Bayou La Batre, AL and had been a longtime resident of the coast. She was a homemaker and a member of St. Elizabeth Seton Catholic Church. Mrs. Valk was preceded in death by her husband, Ray Valk; her parents, Percy and Emma Usey Curran; sister, Irma Johnson and brother, Ronald Curran; She is survived by her sons, Anthony (Beth Gable) Curran of Biloxi, and Walter Swan of Ocean Springs; seven grandchildren, Wayne, Regina Shantrell, Jennifer, Paula, Emily, and Anna Kathryn; sixteen great grandchildren and three great great grandchildren. Visitation is Tuesday, June 14, 2011, from 5 until 8 p.m. at Bradford-O'Keefe Funeral Home in Ocean Springs. A Mass of Christian Burial will be 10 a.m. Wednesday at St. Elizabeth Seton Catholic Church where friends may visit one hour before service time. Interment will follow in Crewstlawn Memorial Park.
