Forrest Nell Keener

Forrest Nell Keener, age 66 of Vancleave, MS passed away Thursday, July 22, 2010 in Mobile, AL. Ms. Keener was a lifelong resident of Vancleave and was a member of the Jackson County Fair Association where she served on the board for many years. She was also a lifelong member of Mt. Pleasant Methodist Church. She was a hairdresser for over forty years and served on the board of the Hairdresser Association and also a member of the Homemakers Club. Ms. Keener was a loving mother and best friend. She will be sadly missed by a loving family and extended family. She was preceded in death by her parents, Jack and Myrtle Fletcher Survivors include her son, Kenny Keener and daughter-in-law, Lori; two adopted daughters, Angelina Adkins and Nancy Thompson; four grandchildren, Logan and Brandon Keener and Bradley and Landon Adkins. Visitation will be Monday, July 26, 2010 from 6:00 - 8:00 p.m. at the Ocean Springs Chapel of Bradford O'Keefe Funeral Home. Service will be Tuesday, July 27, 2010 at 10:00 a.m. at Mt. Pleasant Methodist Church with John Tucker Afficiating the service. Interment will follow in Mt. Pleasant Cemetery, Vancleave, MS.
