Foye Patricia Sims

Mrs. Foye Patricia "Pat" Thompkins Sims, age 55, of Gautier, MS., died Sunday, October 1, 2006, in Gautier. Mrs. Sims was a resident of the community since December, 1959, and was a member of Woodhaven Baptist Church in Ocean Springs. She was preceded in death by her parents, Carl Thompkins and Willie Johns Thompkins, sister, Melissa Thompkins, brother, Carl "Bubba" Thompkins, III and stepson, William Micky Sims. Survivors include her husband, Richard Sims of Gautier, MS., son, Ira Derrick (Karen) Thomas, and granddaughter, Olivia Brooke Thomas, all of Apalachin, N.Y., stepdaughter, Erin Sims of Orlando, FL., stepson, James Ricky Sims, of Dover, TN., five sisters, Carolyn Wyatt and Jennifer Wilson, both of Ocean Springs, MS., Mary Dickinson of Richton, MS., Annette Walochik of Grove City, PA., and Penny Stephens of El Paso, TX., three brothers, James Gary Thompkins, Chris Thompkins and Wayne Thompkins, all of Ocean Springs, MS., and numerous nieces, nephews, other relatives and friends. Visitation will be on Wednesday, October 4, 2005, from 6-9 PM, at the Ocean Springs Chapel of Bradford O'Keefe Funeral Home. On Thursday, October 5, 2006, there will be a 2 PM church service at Woodhaven Baptist Church in Ocean Springs, where friends may call from 1-2 PM. Burial will follow in Crestlawn Memorial Park. Pallbearers will be Scott Taylor, Chase Thompkins, Josh Dickinson, David White, Shelby Thompkins, Wayne Thompkins, Kris Cole, and Matthew Johnson.
