Fran Rosscup

Francine H. Rosscup (Fran), 87, of Vancleave, Mississippi passed away in her sleep on Monday, Feb 10th at her home in Lake-O-Pines.

Fran was born in Leicester, England on September 26, 1937. She was an active member of the Methodist Church for over 30 years, and enjoyed singing with the choir and attending Bible study with members at both Vancleave and Mount Pleasant congregations. Her life revolved around church, family and her beloved dogs.

Fran is preceded in death by her mother, Nellie Wain; her husband of 31 years, Franklin D. Smith of Laurel, MS who passed away in August of 1988, her husband of 27 years, Harold F. Rosscup of Vancleave, MS who passed away in March of 2016; and a sister, Diana Sinclair.

Fran is survived by her children, Arthur Smith (Cindy), Nicola Connor (Dusty), David Rosscup (Renae), Blaine Rosscup (Elaine); grandchildren, Adam, Tara, Marshall, Shane, Cody and Kim; and great-grandchildren, Alex, Brody, Cason, Landyn, Alma Jean, Colby Francine, and Elijah Huston.

A Memorial Service will be held on Thursday, February 20, 2025 at 3:00pm at Mount Pleasant Methodist Church on Mount Pleasant Road in Vancleave, MS. There will be visitation following the Memorial Service in the adjacent fellowship hall.
