Frances May Preston-Welton

Mrs. Frances M. Welton, age 87, of Mountain Home, AR passed away on Thursday, January 29, 2009. Mrs. Welton was a native of Omaha, NE. She was a resident of Mountain Home, AR and a former resident of Ocean Springs, MS. Frances was a Charter Member of Christus Victor Lutheran Church, where she was very active. She was preceded in death by her husband, Lawrence E. "Larry" Welton and son-in-law, Jerry Smith. Survivors include her daughters, Judith Smith and Pamela (Richard) Hovell; a son, Lawrence E. Welton, Jr.; five grandchildren, Kevin, Melissa, Anastasia, Richard, Jr. and Sarah along with great-grandson, Joseph. Funeral Service will be held at 1:00 p.m. on Wednesday, February 4, 2009 at the Christus Victor Lutheran Church, where friends may visit two hours prior to service. Interment to follow at Biloxi National Cemetery. The Ocean Springs Chapel of Bradford-O'Keefe Funeral Homes is in charge of arrangements.
