Frances S. North

Mrs. Frances S. North, 73, of Ocean Springs, MS passed away on Friday, March 7, 2008. Mrs North was a resident of Ocean Springs for the past 4 years. She was a professional music educator who taught school for over 45 years. After retiring from Marcellus Central School System outside of Syracuse, NY, she moved to Ocean Springs to be near her cherished grandsons. In Ocean Springs she continued to teach private piano and voice lessons. She was an avid proponent of vocal music education and profoundly enriched the lives of countless students. She is survived by her daughters, Heather North, MD and her husband, Gary Rodberg, MD of Ocean Springs and Sarah Holly North of Ocean Springs; grandsons, Sam Rodberg and Wes Rodberg; brother, Garland A. Smith of Fayetteville, NC. Visitation will be held on Thursday, March 13, 2008 from 6:00 pm until 8:00 pm at the Ocean Springs Chapel of Bradford-O'Keefe Funeral Homes.
