Frances Turner Stroud, 74, of Biloxi, MS died Sunday, August 29, 2010 at Canon Hospice in Gulfport, MS. Frances was born in Chatom, Washington County, Alabama, to her father, John Halron Stroud and her mother, Mary Binion Turner Stroud. She later moved to Biloxi, MS and worked at Keesler Air Force Base until her retirement. She had many close friends in both Biloxi, MS and Alabama.
Frances is survived by her cousins, Edward Powell Turner, Jr. and Mary Binion Jones, and their children, Halron W. Turner, Frank C. Turner II, E. Tatum Turner, Benjamin Edward Jones, Elizabeth Jones Mitchell and Binion Jones, along with cousins from her father's family, Dorothy Shuford, Ed McLemore and John McLemore.
Funeral Services will be on Tuesday, August 31, 2010 at 4:45 p.m. at the Howard Avenue Chapel of Bradford-O'Keefe Funeral Home, Biloxi. Friends may visit from 3:00 p.m. until service time.
On Wednesday, September 1, 2010 services will be held at 1:45 p.m. at the Chatom United Metholdist Church in Alabama. Friends may visit from 12:00 p.m. until service time. Burial will be in Chatom Cemetery.
