Francis Alonzo Husley

Francis Alonzo Husley, 66, died Monday, August 29, 2005 in Woolmarket, MS. Mr. Husley was the son of the late Robert Vance Husley of Woolmarket and Francis Elizabeth Tarver of Violet, LA. Mr. Husley was a life-long resident of Woolmarket and was a retired Veteran of the United States Navy in which he proudly served from 1955 until 1975. Mr. Husley was also an honorary member of the Fleur de Lis. Mr. Husley enjoyed hunting and fishing and rarely ever missed an Atlanta Braves game. He is the brother of the late Glenn Ray Husley of Woolmarket and is survived by two brothers, David A. Husley also of Woolmarket and Floyd Tarver, Jr. of Violet, LA. He is also survived by three sisters, Beatrice Hale of Woolmarket, Mary Holsemback of Georgia and Juliet Tarver of Violet, LA. Mr. Husley was lovingly known as “Mr. T” by his friends at Waffle House and “Paw Paw” by his nieces and nephews Jack Husley, Abby Kate Husley, Maggie Husley, Hunter Hughes, Morgan Husley and Erin Husley who all love and miss him dearly. A memorial service will be held Saturday, October 22 at 2:00 pm at Bradford-O’Keefe Funeral Home, O'Neal Road in Gulfport.
