Mr. Frank Gazerro, 79, of Ocean Springs, MS, died Saturday, March 26, 2011, in Ocean Springs.
Mr. Gazerro was born in Walpole, MA, and had been a resident of Ocean Springs for the past 31 years. He was a U. S. Army veteran of the Korean Conflict. He loved to photograph trains and was an accomplished mechanical artist. He was a very loving husband and devoted caregiver to his wife, a loving father and grandfather who will be missed by all.
Mr. Gazerro was preceded in death by his wife of 23 years, Ethel Gazerro, a son, Allen Davis; and his sister, Adeline McCarthy.
He is survived by eight daughters, Debra Belloli, Tina Gazerro, Mary Deveau, Lori Murphy and Lynn O'Donnell of Massachusetts, Ann Malley of Ocean Springs, Becky Asher of Slidell, LA, and Sylvia Simmons of Vancleave; five sons, Frank Gazerro, Jr., Alfred Gazerro, Joseph Gazerro and Donald Gazerro of Massachusetts, and Tommy Davis of Ocean Springs; two brothers, Nicholas Gazerro and Joseph Gazerro of Massachusetts; thirty one grandchildren and twenty great grandchildren.
Funeral services will be held Wednesday, March 30, 2011 at 11:30 a.m. at Bradford-O'Keefe Funeral Home in Ocean Springs where friends may visit one hour before service time. Interment will follow in Biloxi National Cemetery with military honors.
