Frank N. Fleming, Jr.

Mr. Frank N. Fleming, Jr., age 78, of Ocean Springs, MS., passed away on Wednesday, August 1, 2007, in Ocean Springs. Frank was born in Springfield, Ohio, on March 2, 1929. At the age of 5 his father's job transferred the family to Chicago, Illinois, where Frank was raised. In 1950, Frank joined the Air Force. His career lasted twenty years. He spent a year in Korea, then was re-assigned to Tinker Air Force Base, Oklahoma, where he met and married his wife, Margie. Franks' last assignment was at Keesler Air Force Base in 1967. The family decided to stay in Ocean Springs. Survivors include his wife of fifty five years, his children, Diane Cannon and Claudia Givens, both of Mobile, AL., Michael Fleming of Humble, Texas, and Beverly Lopez of Beaumont, Texas, eight grandchildren and two great-grandchildren. Visitation will be on Monday, August 6, 2007, from 10 AM - 11:45 AM, followed by an 11:45 AM Mass of Christian Burial at St. Elizabeth Seton Catholic Church in Ocean Springs. Burial will follow in Biloxi National Cemetery. The Ocean Springs Chapel of Bradford O'Keefe Funeral Home is in charge of arrangements.
