Frank Yates Jr.

Frank L. Yates, Jr., age, 86 of Gulfport died Monday, April 25, 2011 in Gulfport. He was born November 28, 1924 in Texas. He attended Texas A&M and he was a Navy Lt. Fighter Pilot serving in World War II. He was preceded in death by a son, Mark Yates and daughter, Suanne Coury. He is survived by his wife, Jo Anne Yates of Gulfport, son , Bryan L. Yates (Pauline) of Gulfport; grandchildren, Bryan David Yates (Suzanne), Lauren Criss (Robert), Eric Pierce, Kenny Pierce, Michael Woodall (Natasha); great-grandchildren, Bryan Wade Yates, Savannah Yates, Olivia Criss, Conner Criss, Angel Woodall, and Tori Woodall; sister, Billie Jane Orrell, nephew, Russell Orrell; and niece, Elenora Orrell. The funeral service is Wednesday, April 27, 2011 at 5:00 p.m. at Bradford-O'Keefe Funeral Home, O'Neal Road, Gulfport. Interment is Friday at 11:00 a.m. at Biloxi National Cemetery with military honors.
