Frankie L. Vaughn, Ret. TSGT USAF, age 88 of D’Iberville, MS passed away peacefully at Ocean Springs Hospital on Tuesday, December 31, 2024.
Born in Arkansas, he traveled the world while serving his country in the United States Air Force for 22 years. He made Biloxi his home after being stationed here in 1970. Throughout his life, he enjoyed fishing, boating and camping and he was a big fan of NASCAR.
He is preceded in death by his beloved wife of 54 years, Marsha Kay (Deley) Vaughn; his parents, Boots Vaughn and Alice (Gipson) Vaughn; and his siblings, Bill (Marilyn) Vaughn, Pug Vaughn, June Pettigrew and Joey Vaughn.
Mr. Vaughn is survived by his children, Robin Vaughn, Mike Vaughn and Eric (Jeanne) Vaughn; his grandchildren, Nick Vaughn, Brandi Long, Samantha Vaughn, Wendy Gill, Derek Vaughn and Casey Vaughn; 10 great-grandchildren; and his siblings, Lila (Earl) Powers, Jimmy (Sandy) Vaughn and Tommy (Judy) Vaughn.
The family wishes to extend a special thanks to his loving caregiver, Mary.
Funeral services will be held at Bradford-O’Keefe Funeral Home on Howard Avenue in Biloxi on Wednesday, January 8, 2025. Friends may visit beginning at 10:00 am. Service will begin at 11:15 am. Interment will follow at Biloxi National Cemetery.
