Mr. Franklin R. Fayard, 90, of Biloxi, MS, died Friday, April 9, 2010, in Biloxi.
Mr. Fayard was born in Biloxi and remained a lifelong resident. He was a veteran of the U. S. Army and a carpenter. He was most pleased with the work he did as a foreman on the construction of the Mississippi Coast Coliseum, Sheraton Hotel and the Mississippi Power Company sub station. He was a member of Bethel Lutheran Church.
Mr. Fayard was preceded in death by his wife, Helen Fayard; parents, Van and Kate Fayard; sister, Margaret Moore; and brothers, Oliver Fayard and Van Fayard. Survivors include his daughters, Deborah Ann Fayard Hilbrant and her husband Fred and Camille Goldie Flaming; Grandaughter, Michelle Hilbrand and grandson, Franklin Hilbrant.
Funeral services will be 1 p.m. Tuesday, April 13, 2010, at Bradford-O'Keefe Funeral Home, Howard Ave., Biloxi, where friends may visit from 11 a.m. until service time. Interment will follow in Blackwell Cemetery.
