Fred Bradley, age 84, passed away at home on Saturday, October 5th. He was born on August 29th, 1935 in Oak Grove, Louisiana to Helen and John Bradley.
He ran Tri-State Brick and Tile in Gulfport for over 30 years as well as owning a trucking company.
He was a passionate t-ball coach for years, a master storyteller, card player and fisherman. He had an unmatched wit and a kind, generous spirit. He was an extraordinary husband, father, friend and person.
He is preceded in death by his wife Perla, two brothers, Earl and Larry and his parents. He is survived by his two daughters, Nicole and Stacey, son-in-law Jay, two grandchildren, Cierah and Wyatt, two sisters Johnette and Suzie and several nieces and nephews.
Nicole and Stacey would like to extend a huge thank you to the friends who are more like family (you know who you are) as well as to Canon Hospice for their constant invaluable support. Fred would want us to be sure to give a large, last, lone “thank ya Jimmy” to Dr. Dimitriades for everything. He would also want everyone to raise a glass and take a “swig or swaller” in his honor.
In lieu of flowers the family would love for you to make a donation to the charity of your choice.
Visitation will be Friday, October 11, 2019 from 12 until 2 pm at Bradford-O’Keefe Funeral Home, 15th Street, Gulfport. A graveside service will follow at 2:30 pm at Floral Hills Memorial Gardens, Gulfport.
