Freddie L. Toncrey, Sr., 55, of Biloxi died Sunday, April 19, 2009 in Biloxi.
Freddie was a lifelong resident of the Gulf Coast, living most of his life in Biloxi. He was an avid hunter and fisherman, having being dubbed "Fresh Water Freddie." He enjoyed throwing darts. Freddie was the founder of Biloxi River Bass Club and he enjoyed Karoke over the years. He will be missed by all his family who loves him deeply.
Preceded in death by his parents, Burnell and Vivian Toncrey of Biloxi, brother, James Harry Toncrey of Biloxi and granddaughter, Brittany Toncrey of Biloxi.
Survivors include his daughter, Dionne (Alton) Seymour, sons, Freddie (Shanda) Toncrey, Jr., Joseph (Adelle) Toncrey, Wayne Toncrey all of Biloxi, former wife of 23 years and mother of his four children, Esther (Pattie) Ladner of Saucier, sisters, Sonya (Joey) Franklin of Vancleave, Kay Toncrey of Gulfport, brothers, Eldon Toncrey of Vancleave, Ronnie Toncrey of Biloxi, Raymond (Frances) Toncrey of Biloxi, Burnell Toncrey of Vancleave and 6 grandchildren.
Visitation will be Wednesday, April 22, 2009 from 5:00 p.m. until 8:00 p.m. Service is Thursday, April 23, 2009 at 10:00 a.m. Both will take place at the Howard Avenue Chapel of Bradford-O'Keefe Funeral Homes, Biloxi. Interment in Swetman Cemetery, D'Iberville.
