Mrs. Freddie Stovall Commander, 67, of Biloxi, MS, passed away at home on Thursday, July 28, 2005, after a long-term illness. Mrs. Commander was born in Houston, MS on May 27, 1938, and was a graduate of Shelby High School. She became a resident of Biloxi in 1971 and will be most remembered from Commander's Gallery. She had a very strong belief in her Lord and Savior and was a very loving mother. She was preceded in death by her loving husband, Gerald Commander, Jr., mother and father, Fred and Jackie Stovall, sister-in-law, Linda Commander. Survivors include her two sons, Al and Jamie Commander, mother-in-law, Sarah Commander, Brother, Bobby Stovall and his wife, Peggy, and granddaughter, Nate Commander. Her family would like to give special thanks to Stephanie, Dawn and Bonita of Quality Hospice and longtime family friend, P. K. Bush, of Gulfport. Please make all memorials to Quality Hospice, 999 Howard Ave., Suite 1, Biloxi, MS 39530, ot to the Humane Society of South Mississippi, 13756 Washington Ave., Gulfport, MS 39503. Private Memorial services will be held at a later date. The Howard Avenue Chapel of Bradford-O'Keefe Funeral Homes in Biloxi is in charge of arrangements.
