Mr. Frederick Erwin Jansky, Sr., age 62, of Ocean Springs, MS., died Saturday, March 3, 2007, in Ocean Springs. Mr. Jansky was born in Bayshore, New York, was a former resident of Port St. Lucie, FL., and a coast resident for two years. He was formerly employed with Grumman Aerospace as an engineer. He was preceded in death by his parents, Stella and Erwin Jansky and two sisters, Barbara Farrell and Helen Walker. Survivors include his wife of 42 years, Janet Schneider Jansky, daughter, Susan (Bert) Aliff, all of Ocean Springs, MS., two sons, Frederick E. (Tammy) Jansky, Jr. of Hobe Sound, FL., and Christopher (Tracey) Jansky of Ocean Springs, MS., two sisters, Maryanne (Ed) Murphy of Seattle, WA., and Elizabeth Sisk of Hayes, VA., two brothers, John (Sandra) Jansky of Sorrento, FL., and Norman (Linda) Jansky of Port Charlotte, FL., father and mother-in-law, Josephine Taranto Schneider and Edwin Schneider of Ocean Springs, MS., two brothers-in-law, Edwin (Karla) Schneider of Gastonia, N.C. and Joseph (Marie) Schneider of Ocean Springs, MS., seven grandchildren, Tricia, Bert, Christian, Alexis, Jordan, Trey, and Hailey and many special nieces and nephews. Visitation will be on Saturday, March 10, 2007, from 1-6 PM, at the family's residence in Ocean Springs. In lieu of flowers the family prefers donations be made to the Pulmonary Fibrosis Foundation, 1332 North Halsted Street, Suite #201, Chicago, Illinois, 60622. The Ocean Springs Chapel of Bradford O'Keefe Funeral Home is in charge of arrangements.
