Frederick Waltman

Mr. Frederick Waltman, age 64, of Ocean Springs, MS., died Wednesday, March 19, 2008, in Ocean Springs. Mr. Waltman was a lifelong resident of the community. He played in horseshoe tournaments at the Elks Lodge and the VFW. He worked at Ingalls Shipbuilding for 40 years. Mr. Waltman loved life, family, friends and his pets. He was also an accomplished gardener and of the Baptist faith. He was preceded in death by his parents, Frank and Annie Bell Waltman, and three brothers, Frank S. Waltman, Jr., Dennis Waltman and Bradford Waltman. Survivors include his wife of 43 years, Mary C. Waltman, of Saucier, MS., a daughter, Jan (Tim) Thibideau of McHenry, MS., a sister, Bernice Dobson of Gulfport, MS., five grandchildren, five great-grandchildren, and many nieces and nephews. On Friday, March 21, 2008, there will be a 2:00 PM graveside service in Beulah Cemetery in Vancleave, MS. The Ocean Springs Chapel of Bradford O'Keefe Funeral Home is in charge of arrangements.
