Froilan Bula Bebita

Froilan Bula Bebita, age 94, of Gulfport, passed away on Thursday, January 11, 2024.

Froilan was born on November 2, 1929 in Borogan, Eastern Samar, Philippines. He earned an Associates Degree in Accounting in the Philippines. Froilan joined the U.S. Navy and served from November 1963 until February 1977. He received the Good Conduct Medal 4 times and the National Defense Medal. He loved fishing, gardening with his wife, and watching his grandchildren grow.

Froilan was preceded in death by his parents, Cayetano Bebita and Precela Bula; and siblings, Fidel, Roberto, Leonore, Lopez, Donata, and Jovencio.

Survivors include his wife, Flora Bebita; children, John of Overland Park, KS and Lynne of Bay Minette, AL; grandchildren, Brittany of Biloxi, MS and Nicholas of Overland Park, KS; and great-grandchild, Hunter Newbaker of Biloxi, MS.

A memorial service will be held at 2:00 p.m. on Friday, January 19, 2024 at Bradford-O’Keefe Funeral Home, 15^th Street, Gulfport. Friends may visit from 12:00 p.m. until service time. Bradford-O’Keefe Funeral Home, 15^th Street is honored to serve the Bebita family.
