Gaetano "Guy" Mansi

Gaetano Gaspere “Guy” Mansi, 80, of Biloxi, MS died Wednesday, May 9, 2012 in Gulfport, MS. Guy was a native of Italy. He moved to America in 1950 and joined the U.S.A.F. He was retired from the Civil Service as a meat cutter for the Commissary. He was active with Council 1244 of the Knights of Columbus since 1958 and he was Mr. Biloxi Knight in 2001. He was also the chef of the kitchen. He was preceded in death by his wife, Dale Puzz Mansi. Survivors include his daughter, Angela (Grant) Fountain of Biloxi; and his son, Dean (Atonya) Mansi of Ava, Missouri. The family would like to thank those that provided care for Guy, especially Canon Hospice of Gulfport. Visitation will be Saturday, May 12, 2012 from 10:00am until 11:00am with an 11:00am service all at the Howard Avenue Chapel of Bradford-O’Keefe Funeral Home. Interment will follow at the Biloxi City Cemetery.
