Gale M. Champiomont

CMSgt Gale M. Champiomont, 83, of Ocean Springs left to be with God and his wife on Sunday, February 2, 2014. Mr. Champiomont was a 30 year veteran of the U.S. Air Force, serving in the Korean Conflict and the Vietnam War. He was also retired from the U.S. Postal Service after 20 years of service. He was loved and respected by all who knew him and he will be sadly missed. He is preceded in death by wife, Ruth Champiomont; and his grandson, Jonathan Champiomont. His survivors include his daughter, Karen Champiomont; his son, Michael Champiomont; his granddaughter, Constance Champiomont; and his brother, Don Champiomont. Funeral services will be held at the Howard Avenue Chapel of Bradford-O’Keefe Funeral Home on Thursday, February 6, 2014 at 11:30 a.m. Friends may visit from 10:00 a.m. until service time. Interment will follow at Biloxi National Cemetery.
