Gary L. Colburn, Sr.

Gary L. Colburn, Sr. age 58, of Gulfport, died Wednesday, April 23, 2008 in Biloxi. He was born in Little Rock, Arkansas. He served in the U. S. Navy during the Vietnam War and was a member of VFW Post 1526. He worked for Harrison County Sheriff's Department and Memorial Hospital at Gulfport. He was preceded in death by a daughter, Rosemary Graves; his parents, James and Virginia Jackson Colburn; and a sister, Linda Prince. He is survived by his wife, Rhonda Colburn of Gulfport; two daughters, Kara Colburn of Gulfport and Lelia Colburn of Oil City, PA; a son, Gary Colburn, Jr. of Gulfport; six grandchildren; and one great-grandchild. The funeral service will be Monday, April 28, 2008 at 12:30 p.m. at Bradford-O'Keefe Funeral Home, O'Neal Road, Gulfport where friends may visit from 10:30 until the service.
