Gary L. Pixler

After a short battle with pancreatic/liver cancer, Gary L. Pixler, 63, of Ocean Springs, went home to be with the Lord on May 6, 2009, surrounded by his family. He was born October 15, 1945 in Baltimore, Maryland, the son of Marsha Pixler of San Antonio, Texas and the late Harry L. Pixler. He is survived by his wife of 41 years, Barbara J. Pixler, his sister, Saundra L. Boles, his daughter, Sandy, and son-in-law Richard J. Meyers, and his six grandsons. Gary was the Sole proprietor of Always Best Pest Control. He loved his customers and was well known for whistling while he worked. A Vietnam veteran, he spent 21 years in the Air Force and retired with the rank of Master Sergeant. Most importantly, Gary was a strong follower of his Lord and Savior Jesus Christ and now lives in His presence. He attended St. Paul United Methodist Church. A Graveside Service will be held at 12:30 p.m. on Friday, May 8, 2009 at Biloxi National Cemetery. The Ocean Springs Chapel of Bradford-O'Keefe Funeral Homes is in charge of arrangements.
