Gene Swain

Mr. Gene Swain, age 60, of Ocean Springs, MS., died Friday, August 5, 2005, in Biloxi, MS. Mr. Swain was a resident of the community for 19 years. He was a veteran of the US Air Force, a member of the Ocean Springs Elks Club and the Biloxi VFW. He hosted exchange students and enjoyed his work as a structural inspector. Mr. Swain was also an avid computer user. He was preceded in death by his parents, Lloyd and Virginia Swain. He is survived by his wife of 18 years, Merial Swain, of Ocean Springs, daughter, Sonya Swain of Corsica, South Dakota, son, Mark Swain of Grand Junction, Colorado, brother, Steven Swain of Snohomish, Washington, and four grandchildren. On Wednesday, August 10, 2005, there will be a 1:00 PM graveside service in Biloxi National Cemetery.
