Genevieve Celeste Peyregne

Genevieve Celeste Peyregne, 70, of Ocean Springs, died Sunday, May 11, 2008 in Ocean Springs. Genevieve was born on September 2, 1937 in Jackson County. Throughout her life, she relocated and lived in numerous places around the country with her family. Genevieve was a loving wife and mother where she was perfect in every way. She was not only a beautiful woman; she was a very intelligent lady as well. She was the shining example of a student of life where she was a great mentor to her loved ones. She is preceded in death by her parents, Louis and Genevieve Hinkel; her daughter, Gina G. Bodin; and brother, Carl K. Hinkel. She is survived by her husband of fifty years, Vernon Peyregne; four daughters, Debbie L. LaGarde, Marci J. Pringle, Amy L. Guidry, and Angela M. Villines; one son, David N. Peyregne; two sisters, Ann Scranton and Helen M. Nash; three brothers, James L. Hinkel, Jr., Henry O. Hinkel, and Thomas E. Hinkel, and seventeen grandchildren. Visitation will be held from 6-8 p.m. on Tuesday, May 13, 2008 at Bradford-O'Keefe Funeral Home in Ocean Springs. Funeral services will be held at 10 a.m. on Wednesday, May 14, 2008 at Bradford-O'Keefe Funeral Home with interment following in Crestlawn Memorial Park.
