Mr. George Joseph “Joey” Clark Sr., age 60, of D’Iberville, MS passed away Saturday, January 3, 2015, in Ocean Springs, MS. Mr. Clark was born March 3, 1954 in Biloxi, MS and was a lifelong resident of Biloxi, MS. He was a commercial fisherman all of his life and enjoyed being out on the water. He was a wonderful fun loving man who loved life. He is survived by his loving wife of 42 years, Cheryl Clark; two children, Lynda Clark Rhodes and George Joseph “little Joey” Clark Jr., five wonderful grandchildren, Jeffrey Garbutt, Shelbie Garbutt, Paul “Bubby” Clark, Colten Clark, and Emma Taggart, three sisters, Theresa Clark Tiblier, Sheryl Schoendorf, Tammy Linn Rocco, one brother Henry Gerald Bangs. Also a nephew Shaunn Bangs, niece Angelina Glenn, two longtime friends of the family Babette Stewart Clark, and Preston Lee Gaedchens who also looked to him as a father, and a host of other family members and great friends. As your family and close friends we want you to know that you will be deeply missed here, but in our hearts forever, Fly High “PawPaw”. Visitation will be held at the Howard Avenue Chapel of Bradford-O’Keefe Funeral Home on Friday, January 9, 2015 from 6-9pm with a funeral service on Saturday, January 10, 2015 at 10am.
