George L. Simon, Jr.

Mr. George L. Simon, Jr., 63, of Biloxi, MS, died Thursday, June 17, 2010, in Biloxi. Mr. Simon was a native and lifelong resident of Biloxi. He was a member of the Catholic faith and a Vietnam Veteran of the U. S. Army. He worked along with his father at Simon's Service Station for 46 years. Survivors include his wife, Mary Lou Sellers Simon; daughters, Amy Simon and Staci Butler; parents, George L. and Lurline Mullen Simon; sister, Sally Richards; brothers, Joe Simon; Mark Simon; Wayne Simon and Jeff Simon; and one grandchild, Simon Randall. In lieu of flowers the family is requesting that memorials be made to Multiple Sclerosis of the MS Gulf Coast, 3047 Chatham Rd., D'Iberville, MS 39540, to Alzheimer's Association of the South, 14175 S. Country Hills Dr., Gulfport, MS 39503, or to the favorite charity of your choice Funeral service is Wednesday, June 23, 2010, at 12:30 p.m. at Bradford-O'Keefe Funeral Home, Howard Avenue, in Biloxi where friends may visit one hour before service time. Interment will follow in Biloxi National Cemetery.
