George L. "Skeeter" Miller

George L. “Skeeter” Miller, 73, of Vancleave, MS passed away January 6, 2022. Skeeter was born December 13, 1948 in Biloxi, MS to Margarite and Enoch Miller.

Skeeter worked as a painter supervisor for Ingalls Shipyard. In his free time, he enjoyed fishing and spending time with his grandchildren.

He is preceded in death by his parents, Margarite and Enoch Miller; grandchild, Kaleb Miller; siblings, Billy Gerald, Tim, Terry Lee Miller, Judy White, and Betty Barefoot.

Survivors include his wife, Susan Miller; children, Brian (Nicole) Miller and Allan (Tammie) Miller; niece, Kim Turk; and grandchildren, Jared Thomas, Hayden Miller, Samantha Robison, Alex Cody, Kaitlyn Miler, Ethan McMillan, Colton, Maddox, and Keaton Miller.

A visitation will be held Friday, January 14, 2022 from 4 PM – 5 PM at Bradford-O’Keefe Funeral Home Ocean Springs Chapel. A funeral service will follow at 5 PM. Interment will be at Cruthirds Memorial Gardens Latimer, MS.

In lieu of flowers, the family requests that donations be made to St. Jude Children’s Hospital. The family would also like to thank the doctors and nurses at Ocean Springs Singing River Hospital and friends and family.
