George Washington Pannell

George Washington Pannell, age 87, passed away Tuesday, January 24, 2017. George was born on April 6, 1929. He was a U.S. Army Veteran of the Korean War. He was also a member of the Vancleave Reorganized Latter-Day Saints Church. George is preceded in death by his loving wife of 55 years, Fay Nell Pannell; his father and mother, George H. and Mattie Pannell; son-in-law, George S. Hudson; three brothers; and six sisters. George's survivors include his children, Dalton (Janice) Pannell, Wanda (Ronnie) West, Karen Hudson, and Dwayne Pannell; 10 grandchildren; and 12 great-grandchildren. Services will be held on Monday, January 30, 2017 at 11:00 a.m., with a visitation one hour prior, at Vancleave Reorganized Latter-Day Saints Church in Vancleave, Mississippi. Interment will follow at Vancleave Reorganized Latter-Day Saints Church Cemetery. The Ocean Springs Chapel of Bradford-O'Keefe Funeral Home is in charge of arrangements.
