George Zatko

Mr. George Zatko, age 63, of North Biloxi, MS., died Friday, August 26, 2005, in Biloxi. Mr. Zatko was a resident of the community since 1964. He was a former policeman with the Harrison County Sheriff's Department. He served in the US Air Force for 20 years and retired as a T/Sgt. He served in Vietnam and had a tour of duty in Spain. He was a former civil service employee of the Gulfport Naval Home and attended Catholic services at any chapel he was near. Mr. Zatco was preceded in death by his father, George J. Zatko, his mother and stepfather, Elaine and Frank Oleas and a sister. He is survived by his wife, Ada Jean Wright Zatko, a stepdaughter, six stepsons, and one stepbrother, Paul Oleas. A memorial service will be held at a later date. The Ocean Springs Chapel of Bradford O'Keefe Funeral Home is in charge of arrangements.
