Georgia Ruth Barker

Mrs. Georgia Barker, 65, of N. Biloxi, MS, died Friday, October 3, 2008, in Ocean Springs. Mrs. Barker was a native and lifelong resident of Biloxi. She was a member of the Lutheran Church of the Good Shepard. Mrs. Barker was preceded in death by her parents, Sadie and Benjamin F. Yarbrough, Jr.; son, Vincent "V.J." Adamo, Jr.; and brothers, Robert, Benjamin F., III, and Adrian Yarbrough. She is survived by her husband, Daniel "Danny" Barker of Biloxi; daughters, Kathie Adamo (David) Marks of Duquesne, PA, and Lorena Adamo (Jimmy) Thone of Biloxi; brother, Gerald Yarbrough of Ocean Springs, and one grandchild. Visitation is Monday, October 6, 2008, from 5 until 8 p.m. at Bradford-O'Keefe Funeral Home, Howard Avenue, in Biloxi. Funeral services are Tuesday at 11 a.m. at the Lutheran Church of the Good Shepard where friends may visit one hour before services. Interment will follow in D'Iberville Memorial Park.
