Gerain "Jeri" Edwards

Gerain Eve Nelson Edwards, age 86, from Gautier, MS, passed away on Thursday, January 13, 2022. She was born on December 24, 1935, to Melvin Nelson and Eva Ornellas in Ewa Beach, Hawaii. At the age of 15 she moved to the states with her beloved husband of 40 years. Gerain worked at the Tiki Restaurant in Gautier for 35 years, where she enjoyed very dearly waiting on her customers. She enjoyed baking, shopping and spending time with family.

Gerain was preceded in death by her husband, Ralph Eugene Edwards; daughters, Linda Powell, Cindy Taylor, Pali Baker; son, Daniel Edwards; and mother, Eva Ornellas Banks.
Survivors include her daughter, Terry (Tim) McFaul; son, Ralph Lee Edwards; sister, Audrey Hazen; brother, Darrel (Kathleen) Nelson; grandchildren, Jeri (Jake) Toney, Lindsay (Felicia) DeVita, Johnna Edwards, Jade Edwards and Cole Dempsey. Bradford-O'Keefe Funeral Home is honored to serve the family of Gerain Eve Edwards.

A Memorial Service will be held at Bradford-O’Keefe Funeral Home on Porter Avenue in Ocean Springs at 4:00 pm on Saturday, January 29, 2022. Friends may visit from 3:00 pm until service time.
