Gerald "Jerry" Axinn

Gerald "Jerry" Axinn departed this life on November 4, 2023 at Touro Hospital.

Preceded in death by his mother, Shirley Rosenberg Axinn Watsky, her husband Martin Watsky, uncle Melvin Rosenberg, uncle Bob Pepino and beloved grandparents, Herman & Tillie Rosenberg.

Survived by his wife, Mary J. Martino Axinn, brother Alexander Axinn (Melina), sister Evelyn A. Meyers (Mike), brothers Elliott and Adam (Michelle) Axinn, father, Sherman Axinn, lifelong friends, Richard Brooks, Paul Unkauf, William Mumme, and a host of nieces and nephews of which he adored and loved to tease and always had to show them how he could take out his teeth.

Jerry will be remembered for his love of his family, edgy sense of humor, fishing at Delacroix, poodles Atilla & Genghis, Mardi Gras and the New Orleans Saints.

Private services will be held at a later date.
