Gerald “Jerry” Duckworth, Jr, age 71, of D’Iberville, MS passed away on Monday, August 14, 2023.

Jerry was born on November 25, 1951 in Columbus, MS. He was Alabama’s #1 fan. He loved nothing more than to cut grass while being watched by his most favorite dog, Saban. He loved having the love of his life, Debbie, right next to him.

Jerry is preceded in death by his parents, Gerald Duckworth, Sr and Annie Lou Miller; and by his brother, James Duckworth.

Left to cherish his memory include his loving spouse, Debbie Duckworth; children, Tara (Bryan) Cuevas, Shelly (Matt) Lawrence, Chad (Corrie) Duckworth and Kandi and Lori Duckworth; grandchildren, Devon Jorajuria, Cassidy (Lance) West, Matthew (Courtney) Lawrence, Bryson Duckworth, Jenna Lawrence and Asher Lawrence; great grandchildren, Jasper Jorajuria, Ensley West and Emersyn West; siblings, Bert Rager, Brenda Thrasher and Pamela “Pam” Havard; and by his beloved four-legged companion, Saban.

The family will have a private service at a later date.
