Gerald "Jerry" Raymond Vierling

Gerald "Jerry" Raymond Vierling, 45, of Waveland, died Monday, August 29, 2005 in Waveland. Mr. Vierling was a native of Biloxi and longtime resident of Gulfport. He had lived in Waveland for the past 4 years. He was of the Lutheran faith. Mr. Vierling and his wife Colette were victims of Hurricane Katrina. Mr. Vierling was preceded in death by his wife Colette M. Vierling, his father, George C. Vierling, Jr., 2 brothers, George C. Vierling, III, and David Lee Vierling, grandparents, Grady and Addie Daughtery, George C. and Georganna Vierling, great grandparents, Lee and Emelia Blanchard. Survivors include his mother and stepfather, Evelyn and Sam Reyer of Gulfport, 2 stepsons Edward J. Roberts, Jr. and wife Kimberly of Kiln, MS and Daniel R. Roberts of Bayou La Batre, AL, brother, Doug Vierling and wife Laura of Lizana, niece, Dana Mutter, 2 nephews, Daniel and Dale Vierling, 3 grandchildren, Ryan, John, and Sonnie Roberts all of Kiln, MS. Visitation will be from 1-2:00 P.M., Saturday, September 24, 2005 at Bradford-O'Keefe Funeral Home, O'Neal Road in Gulfport. Graveside service to follow at Finley Cemetery.
