Mrs. Geraldine Marie "Dean" Burdine, 69, of Biloxi, MS, our beloved Mom, entered into the presence of the Lord on Saturday, October 8, 2005, after a long battle with cancer.
Dean was a member of Our Lady of Fatima Catholic Church, Steel Magnolias and the Fleur de Lis Lady's Auxiliary. Dean was the number one Biloxi Baseball fan.
She was preceded in death by her parents, Sagasta "Sang" and Ella Langlinais; her husband, Charles "Buddy" Burdine and a granddaughter, Rachel Lynn Kissel.
Survivors include her brother and sister-in-law, Kenny and Cathy Langlinais; three sons, Chuck Burdine and his wife, Patti; Ricky Burdine and his wife, Laverne, and Kevin Burdine and his wife, Dusty; one daughter, Sharon Kay Kissel and her husband, Victor; eight grandchildren, Melissa, Tommy, Rochelle, Ricky Paul, Christopher, Brent, Ashley and Cody and her first great-grandchild, Tanner Alan, will be born this month.
To all of Mom's family and friends who gave friendship and support, to all the staff at Biloxi Regional Medical Center and Ocean Springs Hospital, Dr. Pavlov, Dr. Adkins and Dr. Latour, we thank all of you.
Visitation is Tuesday, October 11, 2005, from 6 to 9 p.m. at the Pass Road Chapel of Bradford-O'Keefe Funeral Homes in Biloxi. Mass of Christian Burial will be held Wednesday at 11 a.m. at Our Lady of Fatima Catholic Church where friends may visit one hour before service time.
