Geraldine "Miss Jerry" Belesky

Mrs. Geraldine "Miss Jerry" Belesky, 80, of Biloxi, MS, died Monday, May 8, 2006, in Biloxi. Mrs. Belesky was born in Providence, RI and came to the Gulf Coast in 1934. She was associated with Baricev's Seafood Restaurant for over 35 years and with the Mardi Gras Museum as the dosent for 10 years. Mrs. Belesky was preceded in death by her parents, Joseph L. and Mary Ann Lawrence Gilmore, and her adopted parents, Neola and Elliott St. Amant. Survivors include a daughter, Robin Ann Belesky of Biloxi; one son, Thomas Walter Belesky, of Long Beach; two grandsons, Shawn Belesky and Shane Belesky; her adopted daughter, Barbara Daniels, of Poplarville; her sister, Beverly St. Amant Duke, of Homosassa, FL, and her brother, Bernard St. Amant, of Biloxi. A Mass of Christian Burial will be held Thursday, May 11, 2006, at 11 a.m. at Nativity B.V.M. Catholic Cathedral where friends may visit one hour before service time. Entombment will follow in Southern Memorial Park. The family prefers memorials be made to Quality Hospice Building Fund, 999 Howard Ave., Suite 1, Biloxi, MS 39530 or to MS Coast Interfaith Disaster Task Force, #28, 29th St., Gulfport, MS 39507. The Pass Road Chapel of Bradford-O'Keefe Funeral Homes in Biloxi is in charge of arrangements.
