Gerda Glass

Gerda Glass passed away peacefully in her home on Saturday, March 2, 2024.

Mrs. Glass was a longtime resident of Mississippi. She was born in Germany where she met the love of her life, Larry. Together they created a loving home and family. She loved organic gardening, cooking and especially her animals. She helped found the first Schutzhund Club on the Ms Gulf Coast. Earlier in life she loved to show horses and german shepherds amongst many other hobbies.

Gerda was a loving wife, mother, grandmother, and sister who will be missed dearly.

She is preceded in death by her parents, Fitrich and Helena Suhl.

Survivors include her loving husband, Larry; four children, Thomas Claus (Lana), Micha Suhl (Laurie), Peggy Baird, and Stefanie Glass-Delcambre (Barry); siblings, Werner Suhl (Monika) and Renate Moahr; grandchildren, Brittany Meaker (Chris), Megan Rangel (Nelson), Rachel Harris (Trevon), Phillip Claus, Chris Ferguson (Kirsten) and Justin Ferguson; as well her great grandchildren, Sophia Rangel, Tristan Rangel, and Scarlett Meaker.

A private memorial will be held for the family.
