Gertrude Garber Ross, 91, of North Biloxi, went to be with her Lord on February 28, 2008. She was born in Biloxi and remained a lifelong resident of North Biloxi. She was a member of the First Baptist Church in Biloxi and began teaching Sunday school from the time she was 16 years old. She remained working in the children's department as the class secretary until her death. She was an artist and was currently taking lessons from Elizabeth Rosetti. Mrs. Ross was preceded in death by her husband, Lawrence "Pat" Ross; daughter, Shelley Ross; sister, Mary Joyce Walker. She is survived by her children, Larry Lynne (Richard) Dorman, Mary Dell (Anthony, Jr.) Rosetti, Linda (Donnie) Stoner, Billy (Kathy) Ross, all of North Biloxi/St. Martin community; grandchildren, Richard Samuel (TK) Dorman, Ocean Springs, Shelley (Allen) Letort, Latimer community, Larry (Maria) Dorman, Hattiesburg, Partick Dorman, St. Martin community, Anthony (Jeannie) Rosetti III, St. Martin community, Jared (Kim) Rosetti, Gulfport, Stan (DeSha) Budraitis, Hattiesburg, Todd (Michele) Stoner, Gulfport, Frederick Stoner, Arizona, Tommy (Carol) Stoner, Georgia, Stephanie (Ray, Jr.) Romero, D'Iberville, Rhonda Stoner, Mobile, Billy (Tracey) Ross, Ocean Springs, Rachel (Matt) Kasovich, Biloxi and Stephanie (Jimmy) Beauchamp, Saucier; 23 great-grandchildren and 5 great-great-grandchildren. Services will be held on Saturday, March 1, 2008 at 1:00 pm at the Howard Avenue Chapel of Bradford-O'Keefe Funeral Home where friends may call two hours prior to service time.
