Gladys Therese Scioneaux Dugas, 74, of Gulfport passed away Thursday, February 23, 2006 in Gulfport, MS.
Mrs. Dugas was a native of Louisiana. She had been a resident of Gulfport for the past 44 years. Mrs. Dugas retired after 24 years of service with Gulf National/ Peoples Bank as a loan processing clerk. She had been a member of St. James Catholic Church for 38 years where she was also member of the Adoration Society. She was a beloved wife, mother and grandmother. She will be sadly missed.
Mrs. Dugas is survived by her husband of 52 years, Pierre Joseph Dugas; three daughters, Anna Dugas of Gulfport, Elizabeth D. Reiling and her husband Steve of Ocean Springs, and Margaret D. Pauley of Biloxi; one son, Mark D. Dugas; a sister, Estelle Variana of Morgan City, LA; nine grandchildren, Courtney, Taylor, Aaron Dugas, Kendrick McCarty, Dayne Dugas, Joseph Reiling, Brandon Dugas, Kristyn Pauley, Adam Reiling and Philip Reiling; and four great-grandchildren.
The family of Mrs. Dugas would like to thank the nursing staff of the 5th floor ICU at Memorial Hospital in Gulfport.
A Mass of Christian Burial will be held Monday, February 27, 2006 at St. James Catholic Church at 12:30pm; friends may visit two hours prior to service time. Burial to follow in the Biloxi National Cemetery.
