Glen Wood Martin

Mr. Glen W. Martin, 74, of Biloxi, MS, died Friday, January 12, 2007, in Biloxi. Mr. Martin was a native of Perry County, Mississippi and had been a resident of the coast for over 30 years. He was a U. S. Army Veteran of Korea and worked as a safety inspector for Stennis Space Center. He was of the Baptist faith. Mr. Martin was preceded in death by his parents, Acker and Iva Sellers Martin and his brother, Willie Frank Martin. Survivors include his wife of 54 years, Myrtis Ladner Martin of Biloxi, two sisters, Sybil Breland of Brooklyn, MS and Edith Gould of Petal, MS; one brother, Dale Martin of Houston, Texas, and numerous nieces and nephews. The family wishes to thank all the members of Trinity and Memorial Hospice for their love and care. It is the family's wish that memorials be made to the Alzheimer's Association, MS Gulf Coast Chapter, 4803 Harrison Circle, Gulfport, MS 39500 Visitation will be Monday, January 15, 2007, from 5 until 9 p.m. at the Pass Road Chapel of Bradford-O'Keefe Funeral Homes in Biloxi. Funeral services will be held Tuesday in the funeral home chapel at 10 a.m. Interment will follow in Biloxi National Cemetery with military honors.
