Glenn D. Stewart, 83, of Gulfport died Wednesday, September 18, 2013 in Gulfport. He was a member of Our Lady of Fatima Catholic Church. He previously served in the U.S. Army during the Korean War. He worked at Orange County Convention Center in Orlando, FL and was retired from Plumbers Local Union # 357, Benton Harbor, MI. He enjoyed woodworking and was an artist.
Mr. Stewart was preceded in death by his parents, Theodore and Ollie Stewart; two sisters, Connie Huelsburg and Opal McSpadden; and two brothers, Owen Stewart and Lowen Stewart.
He is survived by his wife, Lynda Stewart; three daughters, Tammy (Mas) Kesian, Pam (Martin) Ragsdale, and Shannon (Bubba) Bunting; two sons, Glenn (Kristina) Stewart, and BJay (Tuesday) Mock; eight grandchildren, Lysa, Shawn, Shannon, Taylor, Kyle, Grayson, Kobi, and Justice; and three great-grandchildren, Summer, Hanna, and Hayden.
The family prefers memorials to Our lady of Fatima Catholic Church, 2090 Pass Road, Biloxi, MS 39531.
The funeral Mass will be held Saturday, September 21, 2013 at 11:00 a.m. at Our Lady of Fatima Catholic Church, Biloxi where friends may visit beginning at 10:00 a.m.
