Glenrose Rebecca Trippe

Glenrose Rebecca Trippe, age 81, of Biloxi, passed away on Thursday, June 8, 2023, in Gulfport surrounded by her family.

Mrs. Trippe was born August 28, 1941, in New Orleans, LA and was a resident of Biloxi for over 50 years. She worked in the food and beverage industry before retiring in 2014 and previously owned several businesses with her husband. She enjoyed watching the Saints and her favorite TV shows. “Glenny” as called by her maternal family, was a humble and kind woman who most embraced the role of MawMaw was loved and will be forever remembered.

Glenrose was preceded in death by her parents, Lawrence Ory and Marion Smith; brother, Roland Ory; daughter, Karen Derouen; great-granddaughter, Madison Chatagnier; and her husband, Wilbur “Buddy” Trippe.

Survivors include her son, Wilbur (Myra) Trippe Jr.; sisters, Sue Schouest and Diana Dusang; grandchildren, Tiffany (Eric) Derouen-Ezell, Ricky (Hannah) Derouen, Paige (Jonathan) Derouen, Taylor (Tyler) Bertrand, and Jeremy (Samantha) Trippe; and great-grandchildren, Kaylee Frazier, Jaxson Ezell, and newly born Phoebe Trippe.

Her immediate family will hold a small Celebration of Life and a burial at Good Hope Cemetery in Leake County, MS at a later date per her request.
