Gloria Marie Triche Bowers

Gloria Marie Triche Bowers, passed away at home on January 13, 2019 at the age of 79. Beloved wife of the late Grover Carlisle Bowers. Mother of Cynthia Best (Terri), and the late Miles Scott Plaisance (Lucille) from her marriage to Leroy Plaisance. Grandmother of Teri, Kali, Jami, Christopher, Shawn, and Colton. Gloria was the great-grandmother of four. Beloved daughter of Edward Triche and Marceline Arceneaux. Sister of Earl Triche (Judy) and the late Lawrence Triche. She is also survived by a niece and three nephews. Gloria graduated from West Jefferson High School and received an associates degree from Gulfport Community College. She attended beauty school where she opened her own shop. She also worked for Triton Enterprises. Gloria was an accomplished seamstress. She loved dancing, gardening, and crafting. Services will be held at the Pass Road Chapel of Bradford-O’Keefe Funeral Home at 11am on Wednesday, January 16, 2019. Friends may visit from 10-11am. Interment will follow at Biloxi National Cemetery at 12:30 p.m.
