Gloria Beverly Newman

Gloria Beverly Newman, 79, (Mimsy to her grandchildren) grew up in Chickasaw, Alabama, the daughter of Claude and Gwendolyn Beverly and sister to Calvin “Bubba” Beverly. Gloria passed away on March 26, 2023 at her home in Biloxi, Mississippi. After moving to Biloxi in 1967, she was part owner in the start of Gulf Ambulance and Gulf Medical Supplies. Through the years, she developed residential and commercial developments and was involved in the hotel industry.

Gloria is survived by her daughter, Casie Newman; her son, Thom Newman, II and his daughter, Miia Newman; and by her son, Jeremiah Newman and wife, Kelly Newman and his sons, Jeremiah Newman, II and Ellis Newman.

Gloria had established many incredible friendships with some wonderful people in Biloxi. She was known as a very loving and caring person, and will be missed by friends and family alike.
