Gloria Jean Upchurch Sims

Mrs. Gloria Jean Upchurch Sims, age 74, From Ocean Springs, MS passed away on Thursday, April 2, 2020, at her home. Mrs. Sims was born on January 23, 1946, in Winona, MS. She retired from the Jackson County School District and loved to do crafts and talk on the phone to her many friends. She is preceded in death by her parents: Charles Edward and Jesse Reginal Upchurch; sister, Diane Reeves; and by her husband, Jerry Sims. She is survived by her children: Christopher Sims, Gina (Terry) Lamey, David (Sandra) Sims, Brian (Cindy) Sims; grandchildren: Brittany (Nick) Heiden, Clint Lamey, Corey Sims, Jamie Williams; great grandchildren: Kylie Morace and Nikki Heiden. A private family burial was held at Bethel Hill Baptist Church Cemetery on April 6, 2020. Bradford-O'Keefe Funeral Home, Howard Avenue in Biloxi, is honored to serve this family.
